Hornsby Creative produces illustrations for nonprofit Wands for Wildlife

A while back we had the good fortune to work on some new illustration elements for Wands for Wildlife. WFW is a nonprofit that is inspiring people to help wildlife and the environment through re-purposing discarded mascara wands. The organization engages people in ways to support wildlife caregivers and encourages greater mindfulness of the impact from human activities, including the use of plastics, on the environment.
John had been part of a team that worked with WFW during a past Make a Mark event. We had come up with three characters to represent both the different species they serve and the different areas of service. John had contributed some line art illustrations of each as part of that project.
They came back this year and asked us to design some new illustrations of these characters along with some habitat elements.
The above is a provided scene that incorporates all of the individual elements into a style sheet. We can’t wait to see how their team rolls these elements out in the coming months!
Illustration is one of our core specialties at Hornsby Creative along with experience design and branding.
