I recently completed this logo design for @higher_health. Rachel is a health coach, nutritionist, yoga instructor and all around amazing human.
Her business is providing healthy living coaching to successful business performers. Her ideal clients are those who want to elevate their physical health to match their professional success. She helps empower you to live your best life now.
The Design Process:
I worked with Rachel to help develop the final name and branding. The website is currently under construction as well.
For Higher Health Now with Rachel we gravitated to the star anise a primary inspiration for the logo mark. We added the “Now” to the name to command a sense of the call to action to live your best life now. Additionally we added the “with Rachel” to emphasise the approachable more intimate personal brand.
I always explore images around keywords I gather from our review of my brand discovery questionnaire. I also explore color psychology, symbolism around certain keywords. I dig into everything from history and mystical symbolism, sacred geometry, numerology, color theory, gemstones and herbalism. I believe all of that info whether “true” or not, resides in our collective consciousnesses and has meaning and influence. So every element from type styles to colors, geometry to symbolism is intentionally chosen and honed for a specific reason. That reason being to both represent the authentic voice of the brand and resonate with their ideal audience.
Below are final versions and the moodboard we create as the initial inspiration. This helps to guide the collaborative process as well. I also include some mock ups of how the logo application may look in real life.
